K/D Ratio minimum
Recruitment
I think from now on we should only accept players with a certain kill/death ratio. May sound shallow, but frankly I enjoy playing S&D and Team Tactical and I don't want to be forced to play Ground War. Regardless of what people may say K/D is the best indication of quality we can get. We have a good, friendly group of guys and that doesn't need work. So our recruitment should only be in support of GB in my opinion.. What do you guys think? Please vote..
Re: Recruitment
Well i chose no requirements, because i dont have the best KD ratio, therefore cant stipulate who we do and dont let in the team with regards to KD ratio. I think the main thing should be how they follow orders. Can they stick to the game plan.

Re: Recruitment
Simy what we have now doesn't matter, we have an established team which we should only let improve. Well whenever I'm recruiting that'll always be in my mind for GB. I'll recruit anyone but wont invite anyone unexceptional to our GB roster. If someone wants to join GB with us then we can make a new team, because it's also about space now.
Re: Recruitment
Cool well i thin we should defo rub to tean so everyone that wants to can take part.

Re: Recruitment
I don't think KDR should have any basis on recruitment.
DTLA is a casual clan, so generally anyone can join DTLA regardless of KDR. However to get into our GB team they would have to play with us for quite a while and get used to our style. They would have to learn to communicate with us and be prepared to take orders from established members, once we all feel they are good enough then we would invite them to join us on GB. No thought towards there KDR.
With this in mind, I'm sorry to pick on you, but I don't think Ownage or Carlton should be part of our GB team yet. I don't think they take orders well, nor do they communicate very well... However this is a whole new discussion!

Re: Recruitment
Carlton was impressive on GB, I let him off the leash and told him to just kill in his natural way. That's why I had both of them on the second team to be honest, I was hoping you could help them along Jimmy.
DTLA recruitment: No requirements
GB recruitment: Depends on how we work this multiple team business out. If we have a second(training) team then the leader there can invite at his own judgement.
How bout that..?

Re: Recruitment
I'm not saying that Ownage and Carlton are bad players, far from it. In fact I was the first person to champion ownage when we had the clan match the other day (we won 3-0), he had multiple clutches for us and Carlton is my Nephew and have played with him for many years on many games, so I fully appreciate how good he is.
However Communication and a chain of command is very important to do well. There will not be another GB team in the league that would have 2 players that don't communicate.
Back to the thread... I don't think KDR in particular, matters for GB recruits, but I think that any new recruits should play with us for a while, before they are even considered. So I guess that means that anyone that wants to be part of the main GB team (Team 1), would have to go through team 2 and be referred by the squad leader.

Re: Recruitment
Yeah Jimmy that sounds perfect to me, the squad recommends someone for the first team. And it's up to him to decide when someone his ready to step into GB and join his squad. So who's that going to be? Simy? Jimmy?

I will take team 2 into my arms with love and protection (DUREX)

Re: Recruitment
You cant take KDR that seriously, all sorts of stuff messes with those stats, i.e. glitched lobbies, boosting lobbies, camping bitches etc. Of course if they have a KDR below 1.4ish then u need to ask a few questions but ultimately GB is about winning really, so i think W/L ratio should be considered over KD. Id rather be playing with a person who wants to win rather than a kill whore.
Just my opinion and i might be wrong.
What dya think?

Re: Recruitment
If its just for casual play then i would say any1 that plays well, and isnt an areshole.
But for GB a few private matches would need to be done i think.

Holy Shit! Lloydy's awake. Who poked him with a stick!? I told you not to do it! I knew he wasn't dead!!!
I don't pay much attention to W/L ratio either. I rage quit way to often for mine to be taken seriously.
Lloydy what are your thoughts on the chain of command and having 2 game battle teams?

Re: Recruitment
I think we should try out 2 teams for a while and see how we go. If anybody wants to switch teams though all I would recommend would be to get the team together and play together on public matches before jumping into gamebattles, just to give everyone a chance to get used to each others playstyles, callouts etc. If it doesnt work then we can just go back to how it was before and just see whos online when gamebattles is happening. The other thing about 2 teams is that everyone is going to get a game, so nobody will be left out.
Chain of command sounds like a good idea aswell, will it be jimmy and jager at the top running the different teams? Seems to make sense seen as though you two probably put the most amount of time and effort into DTLA. Then you two could discuss any player swaps etc?

Re: Recruitment
2 teams it is then.
We have decided that Simy is going to head up the second team and still be a part of the first team. I don't have enough free time (not online enough) to run a whole squad and set up training sessions. However Simy is going to be the person to suggest swapping players.
