What perks have you unlocked? How good/useful are they?

I have unlocked Ghost, SoH and Ninja.

Ghost - I think is essential, but you do look like a retard in the ghillie suit!

SoH - I always like this perk. It can't ever see a situation where this perk is not useful.

Ninja - Now I have only played TDM and this perk didn't really help me a lot. I like not hearing my own footsteps, but in TDM this doesn't seem particularly useful.

What attachments have you used?

In combat training I bought a flamethrower for my assault rifle. The flame thrower was almost, but not quite an instant kill, the range of it however is about the same as using commando in MW2.

I prefer the RDS over the reflex sight. Anyone else have a thought on this?

So I've got SoH pro... yay. I'll still lose in a 1v1 gunfight. 1 thing I don't like is that you still have to pay for the pro part of the perk even after the challenges.

Bit of a weird choice but I bought the spaz and attached the surpressor... This works a treat for me on Nuketown.

Ninja is useless until they fix the audio. You can't hear footsteps anyways.

The audio in Black Ops is awful in comparison to MW2.

Footsteps are almost silent until the person is very close to you AND you can not hear the bomb open on SnD!

Are the audio problems fixed in this mornings patch?

It does make headsets useless.

Yeah that's a plus, but useless in-game Wink Yep I sound like an elephant walking around metal and stuff now, haven't noticed much difference in normal ground.

I might have a blast on search and see if I can hear the bomb opening.

The headset does stop the misses moaning as much, but she can still hear me shouting at the TV!

The audios fine for me without my turtel beach, play around in the setting to choose what works best for you, Love ghost pro save me loads of deaths, just always struggle on the sentury gun kill to get my pro. slight of hands pros mint away give u the tatical advantage, hackers ment to be good.

I never use Scavenger, picking up enemy guns that often have two attachments is good enough for me. I wont be going near Hardline either, Flak Jacket or Ghost for me. Maybe Lightweight on one class max.

Lightweight pro, SOH pro and matheron pro with a AK74u + grip = rapage.
Ghost pro, SOH pro and hacker with a commando = silent staker.

matheron pro is mint, can see why is so diffcult to get, can get on there other side of most map in less than 20 seconds, firing rance for example i can get from our spwan falg to theres b4 they even caught it. easy kills

I have found that lightweight is quite a good perk to start with for SnD. Same as MW2, where everyone starts with stopping power, then swaps to cold blooded.

I generally run ghost, but if we are struggling to capture a flag I will swap to flak jacket.
