Iv just got to a point where you have to get a new sheriff for Primm. Decided to give it to some ex con who used to run a town 'out far west'. Just having fun exploring on this game at the minute! ITS ABSOLUTELY MASSIVE

Yeah , i tried to hunt soem Deathclaws last night and got owned by 3 of teh fuckers lol. Loving it at the moment. Still havent been to new Vegas yet.

WHat kind of weapons does every1 use?

Ive got the 9mm and 10 mm pistols, The .357 magnum, single shotgun and the rifle.

Special weapons being a thumper like Grenade launcher and a Plasma rifle.

I dont plan on doing missions yet. I plan to kill those giant radscorpions there fucking tough guys man, i hate the fuckers.

I think at the minute im just using the caravan shotgun and the 10mm sub machine gun. I want to find myself a hunting rifle, then upgrade it with a scope. Iv just been killing them powder puff gang people, they're easy targets I wana try and do some of the missions next if i can

Nah the giant Radscorpions, dynamite does fuck all against them, i can melt them into a green goo with my Plasma Rifle . Those night stalkers (the dogs with a rattle snake head) are fucking tough as well. got a family of nightstalkers i'm gonna deal with tonight .

I got the sheriff from the Mojave outpost... Haven't even been to the prison.

After Primm you go to Novac, then after you go to Boulder City, then to the strip. I've just finished at Boulder City and I'm just exploring the wasteland. I've been able to kill 1 deathclaw, and that just because I was on a cliff and I had attached a scope to my laser rifle. I then got fucking raped by 3 more of the fuckers that I had alerted. My new favourite weapon is called Annabelle, which is a missile launcher! I've got a gun called "That Gun", which is a revolver, but uses rifle bullets!

Has anyone got any companions yet? I've got 2 so far and they pretty much take everything out. Ed-E at Primm (this robot has some sort of laser) and Boone (Now he has a sniper rifle and takes scorpions out before I usually see them) in Novac. They are just mules. I pack them with loads of stuff, saves me carrying anything.

nah jimmy havent got any of the companions yet! I'v heard about that robot fella but not looked into it yet. Do you have to fix him yourself or do ya have to take him to a scrapyard or something?

My brother said he powered up some death-star equivalent thing/weapon that you can use rather than re-routing power to all the cities.. Apparently it's amazing, destroys everything around you. Anyone know anything about it?

After about 4 or 5 hours my xbox tends to crash, does anyone else have this?

Lloydy, you are supposed to fix the little robot yourself (it's in the mojave express at Primm). You either need a high science skill (55), high repair skill (45?) or you need the right parts (3 scrap metal, 2 sensor modules and 1 scrap electronics). Then it will be your campanion. The laser is not particularly good on it, but having it as a companion gives you a perk that marks enemies on your HUD from a very long way away, which is usually helpful.

Jager, the bit your brother is on about is at a place called Helious One. I saved the game just before going into the computer to decide what to do. I sent the power to all the cities in my save. However I did go back to it, just to find out what happens if I activated ARCHMEDES II and it does blow up everyone on the ground around you, which is really cool to watch. Doing this though gives you loads of bad Karma and as everyone around you is from the NCR (who I don't particularly like in this game), they all now hate you and will attack you for the rest of the game, which isn't particularly helpful.

Simy, surely Novac is on your map? So you should be able to make your way there easily. If not do a bit of the main mission and after Primm it gives you an easy route to novac. I didn't come across the blind deathclaw, but I know Hustler and Big Pants found it and got there ass handed to them as well. I am trying to avoid deathclaws for the time being or at least until a get a good enough weapon to take them out in a couple a hits (like a mini nuke!).

As for weapons, I am struggling to find some really decent ones. A service rifle seems to be doing well for me. It holds 20 rounds in a magazine and each bullet does more damage than a pistol shot... I find that the 9mm sub-machine burns through ammo too quickly, Ammo is a scarce resource.

Yeah i use teh standard rifle alot, the two shot guns i had were shit Caravan and Single. Novac is marked on my map , i just cant get their i keep dying from death claws or night stalkers

Simy, whats a standard rifle? There are quite a lot of rifle's. you get a vermant (sp) rifle at the beginning, but you really should have a better one than that by now. Saying that avoid deathclaws as it will not matter what rifle you're using!

Whatever you do don't travel at night, especially whilst you're still at a low level. I didn't come across a deathclaw until I was travelling from boulder city to the strip. I guess you should be avoiding the path you keep taking!

What are your SPECIAL attributes? and what are your main skills?

I took the faster reload perk right at the beginning and that turns the shotguns into monsters. I seem to be doing quite well with pistols as well, not against deathclaws though!

Gonna start a new game tonight and take it sowly. I ahd lock smith and the gun one. Yeah the vermint is what i had been using. GOnna give this game alot of time until black ops really fun.

I'm gona try not to kill everyone, although |Joe cobb is going down may try and just stealth it when i fight him.

A new game! That's a bit drastic. You are playing it on normal, right? not Hardcore or anything too special! Guns and lockpick are not bad choices. Make sure you pick perks that help what you already have. For example, if you pick the perk that gives you twice the points from a magazine (+10 x 2), then there is no point in putting your lockpick above 55 (75 with a magazine).

What SPECIAL stats have you got? These are the most important stats in the game and will completely change how you play the game.

Nah new game is a plan, i dont this like 4 times with fallout 3 befor ei got the just of everything. Having gun tho.
